FTSE 100 rebounds and leads the way

To be honest the rebound in the FTSE 100 this afternoon is a little perplexing but respected all the same. The reason for that is all about reporting and UK companies that have done so, beating much of what surrounds them and that has helped the index to rebound further above 8,105 this afternoon and outperform all its peers right now. To be honest, once it reclaimed the 8,105 level it has not looked back today. The earlier session low was set at 8,056, so there was the expected follow-though once that 8,105 initially gave way. It will be interesting to see how the US markets end the day later on, after what has been an early set back. It will also be interesting to see if the FTSE holds this run and ends the session above 8,105 later this afternoon. The index is currently trading at 8,152
