FTSE 100 eyes 8,600 for the first time in over a month
The DAX is off its earlier session lows just now (22,637), but not markedly so, as the US stock markets prepare to reopen shortly. What has not yet bounced at all is the FTSE 100. In fact that index is right now at session lows, as it eyes the 8,600 handle for the first time since February 5. The further fall now today is taking the index closer to the first technical support level. That is its 50 day moving average, which is in place right now at 8,558.50. The index has not been below this since the middle of January. The FTSE 100 is right now at 8,600
