FTSE 100 breaks new ground- important note about Quick News updates next week
Well, it is not much of a surprise to see the FTSE 100 has set fresh records on the opening today. The index has lifted above the previous all time high at 8,455.77. Of course the index is now pushing further into uncharted territory, so plotting potential upside resting points is hard to configure right now. Perhaps 8,500 looks like a nice round number that might attract sellers, but we shall have to see on that. Meantime, here is notice; that there will be no Quick News updates next week due to an absence of this analyst. Normal updates will resume on Monday May 27. The FTSE 100 is currently trading at 8,470
