FTSE 100 back below technical support again

Yesterday the FTSE 100 managed to rebound, surely helped higher by the gains across Europe and the DAX and the CAC. The FTSE came in third place to those two though, but it still managed to rebound and close above its 200 day moving average. That is in place today at 8,105. The FTSE closed yesterday at 8,125.19. However, it has fallen back into the opening this morning and despite some positive news for a couple of leading components today, the index has dropped towards the lows seen last week, at 8,060. The FTSE 100 might extend further on the downside if that level is taken out this morning. If that happens then perhaps the 8k level might soon come on the radar. The UK jobs data this morning was not very positive either, but as already noted earlier, reports nearer the end of the year might make for more interesting reading. We shall have to see on that. Meantime, the FTSE 100 is trading right now at 8,062
