The index reached a high a little earlier this morning, at 8,533.15. Well, as you can see, just a fraction below the record seen on Friday. So, no new records yet today. The FTSE 100 has not done that yet, but it is close to 8,500 just now. At the same time there is still plenty of trading hours left today in order to have another attempt on the topside. All to be revealed as they say. The FTSE 100 is currently at 8,512
