Fresh interim lows for the GBP/USD this morning
The dollar is making further progress so far this morning and that has seen the EUR/USD edge close to the lows seen yesterday. The USD/JPY is still not making much upside progress though and that is all due to fear of the BOJ. The GBP/USD is lower too and a little earlier it fell to a new interim low at 1.2037. The GBP/USD closed in the US last night at 1.2077. It is not much above that session low right now and the upshot of all this is a lurch to the left in the likes of the EUR/JPY and the GBP/JPY. The GBP/USD is closing in on that very important 1.20 level, but so far that has not really been put to the test. At the same time that should not be ruled out, but it might have to wait until those important US economic releases later today, to see it that comes closer onto the radar. The GBP/USD is just now trading at 1.2047
