A final reminder about Quick news updates today as S+P 500 futures rebound

Earlier this morning the S+P 500 was priced to reopen not much above 5,300. However that news out of China, just noted in the previous update did immediately shift the opening outlook and sent all the US equity futures charging higher. The S+P 500 opening outlook was then repriced to above 5,375. It has tempered that rebound now though and so have the Nasdaq 100 and Dow Jones futures too. The USD/JPY is now edging back from the reaction high and in all honestly this all seems rather flimsy, as just noted. We have heard nothing back from the US side and until there is some response there, it is hard to give this news too much credence. The reader is also reminded; there will no further updates from this analyst today. So, if you are trading, then please keep your discipline and remember this is still very much a headline driven market, as well demonstrated by those latest Chinese headlines. The S+P 500 is right now priced to reopen around 5,358
