Fed Boss Powell in the spotlight later today-check out the Nasdaq 100 futures

At approximately 5pm GMT the Fed boss, Jerome Powell is due to speak and the subject matter of that is said to focus on transitioning to the new normal. Hence, this could be important, if there are any clues on the pace and extent of normalising monetary policy and exactly what a neutral stance for US interest rates might look like. Ahead of this, at 1pm GMT the ECB boss, Christine Lagarde is  also due to speak, so keep an eye out for her remarks in respect on Euro price action. So, right now the US equity futures are still in the red and it is the tech sector and the Nasdaq 100 that is currently leading the losses. That might turn around, but it did not at all on Friday, as the tech sector  seemed plagued by month-end profit-taking. The Nasdaq 100 closed last Friday at 20,008. It is just now priced to reopen at around 19,950
