Even the FTSE 100 is making big gains now this morning

Since the last update here on the DAX, the index has picked up almost 200 points as it moves above 19,500 and towards 19,550. At the same time the US equity futures are still on the rise and gaining even more since the penultimate update here looked at the progress in the Dow Jones. So, this very positive feedback loop is lifting all the European markets further and even the dog of the past few sessions has managed to cling to the coattails of this. The FTSE 100 is rising close to the 8,300 handle right now and clearly getting the relief it surely needed following the fallout from the UK budget last week.
