EUR/USD still struggling to impress anyone
The EUR/USD is floating around in the same old range so far today and giving the impression that is has no direction whatsoever. Well, it is hard to deny that right now. A range of 1.0875 to 1.0900 would seen to have it surrounded for the time being. The EUR/USD closed last night at 1.0891. The range seen so far today has been covered by 1.0879 to 1.0897. However, before you remove it from your favourites screen, just remember one thing: that the tighter and more compressed the range becomes, the greater the chance of an explosive move will be. However, clearly a good deal of patience is going to be required on this one, as indeed it has been for some time. It is high summer right now too and that means a good many wholesale Euro traders are on the beach. The bottom line folks; is trade this one via the EUR/JPY for the time being, because that is where the action is, until the levy breaks on the dollar. The EUR/JPY is currently trading at 1.0884
