EUR/USD steadies during the Asian session
As you are all aware by now, the EUR/USD fell to a low at 1.0668 on Friday afternoon. However, and despite looking entirely possible, it did not set a daily and weekly close below the 1.07 handle. The Euro managed to lift just above that into the close, ending the week at 1,0703. It has not strayed too far from that closing level in Asian trading today. The range seen ahead of the European opening has been covered by 1.0691 to 1.0709. US Yields are slightly higher this morning, which has probably stopped the Euro from making much in the way of further headway so far today. Resistance is in place higher up, at 1.0721 and then at 1.0745. The EUR/USD is currently trading at 1.0703, right where it closed on Friday
