Yesterday the EUR/USD managed to claw its way to a new interim high at 1.0922. That high came right on the 4pm London fix. However, that was the extent of it and later the Euro fell back into the US close, where it failed to set that above the 1.09 handle. The EUR/USD closed in the US at 1.0894. It is drifting lower today, but the range is very tight (1.0884 to 1.0899). The rebound in the USD/JPY today has not helped the EUR/USD either and the lack of traction across the European stock markets yesterday and futures prices this morning is also not helping. The EUR/USD is right on session lows just now, currently trading at 1.0885
