EUR/USD finally makes a move above 1.06 after US jobs report

The EUR/USD has spiked above 1.06 following the release of the US jobs report. The move comes as the markets were clearly not so impressed with the US data. The Euro has lifted to 1.0630 in what was a vertical move after the jobs numbers hit the screens. That means it has moved a little closer to an important technical level, noted here previously and that is at 1.0685. It remains uncertain as to whether that will be tested this afternoon. It is a major level though folks and it might take some effort to get above the level. We shall see. The EUR/USD is currently trading at 1.0617
