The dollar has bounced back now across the board. The GBP/USD has fallen back from an earlier high at 1.3254, to as low as 1.3205. The EUR/USD, which stalled earlier at 1.1140 has dropped back too, just below below 1.1110 and both moves came into the 4pm London Fix. The USD/JPY cannot seem to quite make its mind up at the moment, flipping either side of the 142 handle for the past couple of hours. The modest rebound in the dollar coincided with a drop back in US stocks, following news of explosions in Lebanon. US stocks are off their worst levels of the day right now, but remain volatile and nervous ahead of the Fed monetary policy decision this evening. There will a further update here ahead of that most eagerly awaited policy change, at around 5.30pm GMT. For now that is it from the Quick News. The EUR/USD is currently trading at 1.1117
