EUR/USD continues to edge higher as dollar slips

The EUR/USD has been grinding steadily higher so far today and the slightly disappointing Philadelphia Fed index data (notwithstanding a higher prices paid component) has helped to lift the EUR/USD to session highs above 1.0450. To be honest with you, it was probably the further relapse in the USD/JPY which mattered more in that respect. As things stand right now it will probably require a deeper fall in the USD/JPY, beyond that seen already to facilitate the Euro reclaiming 1.05. The EUR/USD is right now at 1.0452
