EUR/USD clings to 1.0695 for now

Yesterday the EUR/USD did eventually fall back to test the noted support level at 1.0695. This was and still is the current 2024 low for the Euro. Initially the EUR/USD tried to rise after the US PPI data and ahead of the ECB press conference, but that soon blew out above 1.0750, after the ECB boss hinted that not all on the governing council were content with the status quo on interest rates. So, the EUR/USD reversed its earlier upside move and fell to test the 1.07 handle. The low seen was set at 1.0699. The Euro did lift into the US close, as did the GBP/USD, ending that session at 1.0726. It has not made any real headway yet today. The high seen earlier was set at 1.0730 and it back down closer to 1.0700 as the European markets get underway. The low seen so far has been set at 1.0711 which is where it is right now
