EUR/USD backs away from 1.04 as USD/JPY extends advance above 152
Since earlier updates here noted the USD/JPY pushing higher, from an earlier Asian session low at 150.96, the dollar has now advanced a bit further. The USD/JPY has lifted above 152 and just now hit a session high at 152.15. Prior to this the EUR/USD did trade at 1.0400, but not a pip higher. The reader was alerted to the fact that there were likely to be sellers in place at this level. well, as you can see right now, that was clearly the case. The EUR/USD has just now backed off below 1.0380 and hence towards the lower end of the rather right range seen so far today. That low was set at 1.0373. The EUR/USD is right now trading at 1.0379
