European stocks turn lower into the close- check out the DAX now
Earlier today the European stock markets were making progress. That saw the DAX rise from a low close to 18,400, to a high at 18,536. However, as the European close now looms, the index is falling back to fresh session lows underneath 18,400. There is still time for a bounce, but right now it looks like the odds of a lower daily close today would seem much more likely, given the index closed yesterday at 18,437. The DAX is just now trading at 18,378
