European stocks slide in early trading- CAC 40 falls below 7,400

It has not been a positive start to the day for the European stock markets. All the major indexes and beyond are in the red today, following what was a negative Asian session and a mixed US close. The July German industrial production data released earlier this morning was not good and that has not helped the DAX. The index has slumped towards 18,400 on the opening and the CAC 40 has further endorsed all that has been said about it for a long while now. The CAC has fallen back below 7,400, to a low so far at 7,379. The index had closed back underneath its 50 day moving average again yesterday, when ending the session at 7,431. It is just now trading at 7,395 and the next technical support level is at 7,361.
