European stocks set fresh records on the opening-check out the DAX
The European stock markets have just reopened for the final live trading session of the week and it has been a positive start, with effective record openings for the FTSE 100 and the DAX. The DAX has been the best performing major global index already this week and it is not looking back on the opening today. As noted here earlier, the index set a record close last night night, at 18,686. It has just effectively reopened above 18,760 and it is right now once again leading the way. That said the CAC 40 is actually performing best of all in relative terms on the opening. The DAX is trading right now at 18,755
