European stocks rise on the opening- DAX pushes above 22,500
The European stock markets have just reopened and it has been an across the board positive start for the major indexes. The DAX is leading the gains, but we should not be too surprised by that. The index has pushed above 22,500 and that has defined yet another rebound high for the DAX. The FTSE 100 is higher too and even the CAC 40, which was the worst performer of the three yesterday, is now making progress in early trading. The DAX is right now trading at 22,535
