European stocks open lower- CAC 40 leads the way

The European stock markets have just reopened and it has been a lower start. The DAX is approaching the 19,400 handle on the opening and the FTSE 100 is lower too, but opening not quite as low as earlier indicated beforehand. The biggest loser right now is the CAC 40, which is approaching the 7,450 mark once again. The DAX has in fact now traded below that 19,400 level and the opening vista here in Europe is in quite stark contract to the US futures right now, which are still pricing higher openings later, especially in the Nasdaq 100. The CAC 40 is currently trading at 7,460
