European stocks open higher but CAC 40 slips on Luxury losses
The European stock markets have just reopened and it has been a generally positive opening for the major markets here today. However, the CAC 40 is not performing so well on the opening after the luxury and leading fashion stocks slide in early trading. That comes as a leading company in that sphere cites a potential slide in sales by as much as 45%. That has dented the CAC and in turn that is weighing slightly on the likes of the DAX and the FTSE 100, even as both hold opening gains this morning
