European stocks lift in opening trade- check out the DAX

The European stock markets have just reopened. Prior to that the outlook was slightly skewed to the downside, but immediately that has been snapped. The FTSE 100 is pressing above 7,630 and the DAX is now rising back towards 18,225. The dollar is little changed but higher on balance versus its three main counterparts,  the Yen, Euro and Pound. The move higher in the European markets comes as the US futures also press higher from earlier implied opening lows. The DAX is just now trading at 18,225
