European stocks lift on the opening- check out the DAX right now
Further to updates here on the opening outlook for the European stock markets, those have opened for live trade now and it has been another positive start here in Europe. The DAX has accelerated to the upside and right now closing in on that 18,500 handle. Hence, another step closer to the current all time high, at 18,567. The FTSE 100 is setting fresh record highs too and pushing close to the 8,350 mark. The move higher in stocks here comes amid a Yen that is edging lower again and a pretty benign risk environment just now too. The DAX is just now trading at 18,485
