European stocks hold gains into the close- DAX see to close around 15,350

As the European stock markets draw to a close, it has been a good day for the major indexes. Just ahead of that close the gains are still being led by the CAC 40, which has risen by more than 1.25% today. That could change by the final settlement, but unless anything much changes, it will hold the lead over its counterparts. The DAX is doing well too and looks like ending the session above 15,350, or it not, then close to it. The gains here in Europe have come as yields here in Europe lag the gains seen stateside. The fact that the dollar is not making headway under such circumstances is a little odd though, but of course it has not held back the European stock markets today
