European stocks handing it back now-check out the CAC 40

As the US stock markets rather flatter to deceive in early trading it is definitely worth casting an eye  over at the European action. The DAX has clearly rejected all earlier attempts to re-establish itself above 22,500 and since backed off below 22,350. The FTSE 100 never really got going either and was always lagging right from the opening today. However, the one index that really sticks out just now is the CAC 40. Earlier today the CAC 40 was  on the rebound, when it came to early major European stock market gains. That saw it climb to 8,150, after reopening at 8,138. Well, it has now fallen sharply back underneath 8,100 and it is right now on session lows, approaching 8,075
