European stocks fractionally higher on the opening- check out the CAC 40 right now
The European stock markets have just reopened for the first live trading session of the week, amid a backdrop of rising political uncertainty across the continent. That said, both the CAC and the CAC are mildly in the green in very early trading. The impact of the latest French election polls does not appear to be too damaging to the CAC 40, but it remains to be seen, whether or not the index can can make any real headway this morning, bearing in mind that it closed on Friday at 7,628 and it is currently trading at 7,648
