European stocks fall further on the opening- CAC 40 approaches 7,200
The European stock markets have been open for around 30 minutes now and it has not been a great start to the final session of the week. The DAX has traded towards, or just below 19,750 and the FTSE 100 is falling towards 8,060 now and the reader is referred to the previous update on that. Meantime, the CAC 40 is under further pressure too. The index is has traded close to the 7,200 handle and in the process of course hit a new low on the week. All these moves might be reversed later on, depending on how the US markets fare, but right now those US futures very much still in the red.
