European stocks facing another lower opening today- check out the DAX futures

Yesterday the European stock markets all closed in the red. The worst performing major index was the CAC 40, with a loss of 1.52% on the day. The break below 8k in the CAC was covered here at the time and the index did not recover that into the close at all. In fact it ended the session pretty much on the lows of the day. It was the same story for the DAX too. The index fell back to a low at 18,438 and later closed 204 points lower (-1.10%), at 18,473. It was only a few days back, that the DAX was eyeing the 19k level, but that looks somewhat distant now. There are some EU data points due for release later this morning, which might have an impact on the price action after the opening, but right now that opening is not looking like it will be a positive one. The losses in the US futures and sea of red across Asia this morning is pushing the DAX futures very close to 18,400 as this update is concluded
