European stocks eventually press higher-check out the DAX on the rise now
Since my last update, the European stock markets have steadied and now the likes of the FTSE 100, CAC 40 and DAX have started to lift once more. The DAX was struggling earlier today, but it is now well above the close last night and pushing towards the 18k handle again. That rise comes as the US futures also lift. It is not certain which is leading the other though. These stock gains are now weighing a little on the dollar, as the EUR/USD edges to session highs above 1.0890. Of course this can all turn around again, but for now the weaker dollar dynamic is lifting the DAX to 17,990
