European stocks come off the boil- check out the DAX

The US stocks have opened higher, as just reported and that opening has of course been buoyed by the weaker than forecast US data and resultant slip in US yields. Now earlier today the European stock markets were leading the way, with the FTSE 100 almost reaching 8,400 and the DAX rising to a session high at 18,564. However, that was much earlier and since then the DAX has been falling back (as has the FTSE 100) and traded to a low at 18,464. It then lifted back above 18,525, but more recently is has been slipping back again and it is now falling to fresh session lows underneath 18,450 right now
