European stocks braced for a lower opening- check out the DAX futures

The slide in the Chinese markets today and lower US futures prices is setting the scene for a sharply lower opening here in Europe shortly. As already noted, the FTSE 100 is braced for some heavy opening losses following the higher than forecast UK inflation reports and the DAX is not far behind either. The DAX closed yesterday at 16,571 after recovering an earlier fall to a low at 16,476. Well, it is set to open this morning, well below that low point seen yesterday. The current indication is below 16,400, but it has been priced closer to 16,375 earlier. Either way it is going to be a markedly negative start to the session for the DAX this morning
