Yesterday it was not a great day for the European stock markets. All the major indexes closed in the red. The worst performing of those was the DAX. The index closed below 18k, ending the session at 17,954, with a loss of 142 points on the day. The FTSE 100 closed 0.47% lower and the CAC 40 handed back 0.27%. However, it is a different scene across the European futures this morning and all those indexes are set to open markedly higher today. Of course the gains in the Nasdaq 100 last night are part and parcel of that better outlook for the opening today.
