European stock futures turn slightly red as FTSE 100 edges lower

Over the past few minutes the outlook for the European equity market opening this morning has just turned a little more negative. This is not pronounced to any degree, but the change is noticeable, if not at all conclusive at this stage. The FTSE 100 was the weakest of the three main indexes on Friday, but it still posted a healthy gain of 0.54% on the day. The index closed 40 points higher, at 7,554. The index was priced to open anode 7,575 earlier today. It is now pricing that at below 7,550 as DAX future drifts back to around where the index closed on Friday
