European stock futures in the red this morning-check out the FTSE 100 right now

Yesterday it was actually the FTSE 100 then enjoyed the best of the gains amongst the three major European stock market indexes. The UK benchmark put on 1.09%, compared to a gain of 0.99% for the CAC 40 and 0.77% for the DAX. The FTSE 100 futures have just now not reacted positively to the latest UK jobs reports. The index is still priced to open lower this morning, after gaining 89 points yesterday's when closing at 8,270. The index is currently priced to reopen, at or below 8,225 which is perhaps a little odd given the surge in the UK claimant count just reported. Perhaps the data does rather imply the BOE might not have to cut rates next week (September 19) though?
