European stock futures lift into the month-end opening-check out the DAX this morning
Yesterday the major European stock markets mostly closed higher. The outlier was the FTSE 100, which ended the day in the red, but more on that later. The best performing index yesterday was the DAX, with a rose of 0.49% on the session. The CAC 40 closed 0.42% higher. The DAX gained 90 points, closing at 18,411 and the outlook for this morning is positive right now. Of course that might change in the next hour or so, but for now we are looking at a higher opening today. The latest German unemployment data is due out this morning at 7.55am GMT and that might have an impact, if there is a surprise- we shall see. The DAX is currently priced to reopen at around 18,500
