European PMI data in the spotlight this morning-check out the DAX futures right now

The CAC 40 futures are just now hitting session lows and so are the FTSE 100 futures too. The  DAX is called lower for the opening as well and all this sea of red across the European futures comes ahead of some important flash PMI readings for France (7.15am GMT), Germany (7.30am GMT) and the UK (8.30am GMT). For the most part all of those are expected to show a slight improvement, but if that is not the case then it might not rest well with the European equity space right now. The DAX was by some margin the standout best performing major European stock market index yesterday. In fact, it was the only one of the three to close higher. The DAX closed at 18,557 (down from a session high at 18,647), with a gain of 150 points on the day. That 0.82% rise compared to a loss of 0.38% for the FTSE 100 and a loss of 0.31% for the CAC 40. That was all due to the outperformance of SAP leading the DAX higher. However, the DAX is set to open lower this morning, as the sea of European red flows all around it. The DAX is just now priced to open at around 18,420
