European equities not making much progress so far but the DAX outperforms
Now that the first hour of live European equity market trading has been and gone it has been a rather lacklustre start to the day. The CAC 40 is slightly in the red and the FTSE 100 is being held back by GSK and H&M is under pressure and that is not helping the STOXX 50 much. The DAX is a little higher though and has been outperforming its peers in early trading. The DAX closed last night at 18,154 and has traded as high as18,234 so far this morning. However, the index is currently paring that gain, trading back below the 18,200 mark
