If you look at a chart of the EUR/USD and the USD/JPY covering the price action on both at 4pm yesterday you will see both hit respective session lows at exactly that time. The EUR/USD fell to 1.0461 as the USD/JPY touched 149.08. So, of course that was the extreme of the low point seen in the EUR/JPY yesterday. That cross got hammered and prior to that low you were warned there was a big seller clumping this one. So, the EUR/JPY slide extended, to set a low at 156.38. Earlier in the day the EUR/JPY had been trading above 158.50 (158.64 the high). It has rebounded off that low since yesterday afternoon. The close in the US last night was set at 157.05 and the range so far today has been covered by 156.94 to 157.53. So, as you can see it has not broken any fresh ground relative to what it covered yesterday, but if it does, then it might extend again. The EUR/JPY is currently trading at 157.33
