EUR/JPY has a look at 168 for the first time since 2008 as USD/JPY drives higher

Since the last update here on the GBP/JPY, the USD/JPY has now spiked higher and risen above 156.50. That move comes as the BOJ governor, Ueda seems to take a rather ambivalent attitude towards the Yen in his still ongoing press conference. The Dollar is leading the way and that has now extended to above 156.60, taking with it the major Yen crosses. The GBP/JPY has in fact now taken out that important level at 195.88 and the EUR/JPY is forging higher too. The EUR/JPY has now risen above 168 for the first time since 2008. The likes of the AUD/JPY and CAD/JPY are rising sharply too. The AUD/JPY has now lifted above 102 and close to 102.50. The EUR/JPY is just now trading at 168.12
