EUR/GBP sets a new 2024 low underneath 0.8383 as GBP/USD extends higher
As expected and covered here in some depths for a long while now, the EUR/GBP has now fallen just below the prior 2024 low, at 0.8383. The move comes as the GBP/USD extends its gains above 1.33 and the EUR/USD lags behind. The GBP/USD has just now hit a session high around 1.3340. The EUR/GBP has traded to a low so far at 0.8381 and might be unwise to rule out further downside traction in the short term, now that the cross has broken fresh ground
