EUR/GBP nearing 2024 lows again as EUR/USD has a look below 1.05
The fall in the EUR/USD so far today has now seen it trade below the 1.0500 handle a short while ago and that has helped to push the GBP/USD lower. The Pound has now fallen close to the 1.2675 level. However, it is outperforming the Euro versus the dollar and that has delivered a move below the 0.8300 handle and close to the current 2024 lows, at 0.8260. The EUR/GBP had closed out the month on Friday at 0.8306. It has traded to 0.8277 this morning. So, as you can see, there is a live prospect of it falling below 0.8260 at the start of the new month and set a new low for the year in the process of doing that. The EUR/GBP is currently trading close to session lows, right now at 0.8279
