EUR/GBP falls to new 2024 low close to the 0.8300 handle after UK sales beat
The EUR/GBP, which was already under pressure leading into the latest UK sales data, has now fallen back further and just now fallen to set a new 2024 low, at 0.8301. The EUR/GBP had closed in the US last night at 0.8323. The Euro has now fallen to its lowest since April 2022. There might be some support at the 0.8300 handle, but that is not clear at this stage, but it has yet to be breached on this latest fall. The EUR/GBP is currently trading at 0.8304
