EU comments take the shine off early US stock market gains-check out the S+P 500 now
A comment just now from EU sources has rather poured cold water on the opening US stock markets gains. The EU have just said that no progress has been made in talks with the US over trade. The US stock markets have balked at this and seemingly more so than stocks here in Europe so far. The S+P 500 was trading just above 5,450 at one point and it is now falling back towards 5,400. It is a similar story for the Dow Jones and the Nasdaq 100 as they also wipe out earlier gains
