Early rotation sees Nasdaq 100 slip
The previous update here noted the prospect of some reverse rotation impacting the Nasdaq 100 and favouring the Dow Jones earlier today, when looking at the price action across the US futures. Well, the US equity markets have not long reopened and so far that is exactly as it has played out in early trading. The Dow Jones is higher and the Nasdaq 100 is lower. We are not talking about substantial moves here though and nothing that cannot be reversed at this stage. So, at this point in time, it really a case of whether or not that continues into the close tonight, or we see a reversal back in favour of tech stocks. The Nasdaq 100 reopened today at 21,573, down from a close on Friday, at 21,622. It is currently trading at 21,580
