Early price action in US stocks sees Nasdaq 100 underperform
Just for the record nothing on the US stock market opening is performing especially well and it has been a lower opening for all three major indexes this afternoon. That was always baked, despite the attempt to spin a dovish take on the US PCE and GDP data. So, the Dow Jones is right now trying to push higher and there seems to be a degree of rotation, back out of tech and into the Dow in early trading. That means the Nasdaq 100 is not yet making any progress above 18,700 in early trading. This might change as the session develops, but so far in relative terms the Nasdaq is not outshining anything yet. The index is currently trading at 18,675
