The CAC 40 will very shortly resume live trading. Yesterday the index rose from a session low at 7,472. It rebounded to a high at 7,545, before later closing just 1.13 points lower, at 7,535.10. That close came ahead of the latest results from L’Oreal. That stock is ranked third in the CAC by weight and hence it is an important component. Whilst sales grew by 3.4% in Q3, that was way below the 6% rise expected and it has dented the stock and hence the opening outlook for the CAC this morning.
