Dow Jones takes the lead in very early US trading

The US stock markets have just reopened. The initial moves, subject to change of course, have the Dow Jones rather outperform the Nasdaq 100 and the S+P 500. All three indexes are higher though and so it is not yet certain if this immediate rotation in favour of the Dow Jones will see the Nasdaq 100 and the S+P 500 turn lower. For the next few minutes we are going to get the usual, pretty frenetic amount of gyration across all three, as the markets attempts to forge out direction. The Dow Jones has now pushed its way above 42,400 after officially reopening at 42,264 (usual book entry but not a tradable price). The high seen so far has been set at 42,416. It is currently trading at 42,402
