Dow Jones slides into the red as ISM disappoints stock markets

The reaction across a number of markets to the weaker than expected US ISM data has delivered a rather risk off tone to trading. The dollar has taken a hit across the board and Gold has risen to fresh session highs. The US stock markets have not reacted well to this data either. The Dow Jones has fallen back quite steeply into the red now. The index closed yesterday at 40,842 and had opened higher today, at 40,916. The early session high had been set at 41,096, but it is not up there any more folk. The Dow Jones has now dropped close to the 40,700 mark and is in a spot of bother right now, currently trading at 40,715
